Oi!

I've been out for some day(s) again and I came across this neat site where you can adopt pets, do battle with them, explore the world, play neat games and win money (game-money that is). It's a great relief from boredom

At first I thought it was kind of 'cute and fuzzy'. But after one or two hours it was loads of fun =)

I used to play around on that site about a year and a half ago or so. It was fun at first, but I got bored with it after long. It's simplistic, and simplistic is good, but it doesn't always stay fun for a long time. I had a moderately powerful pet, I believe it was a mutant kiko at the time. Look up Behts if you feel so inclined.

I gave away my account to someone when I got bored with it and absolutely did not care anymore. I believe they haven't done anything with it. Heh, I even had the map the the secret laboratory. That thing was a ton of fun.

The secret lab is the result of one of the map quests. It leads you to a lab and you can zap your pet with a ray. It does random things. Can raise or lower a random stat by 5 points or more (or less), change colors, genbder, species, what have you. It's a fantastic way to raise stats for battle, but it's chaotic and unpredictable.

You all like Neopets now, sure.

But what about the two years ago Fyrtenheimer was referring to? That was when it was good.

I had, and still have an account there. Of course, I don't still use it, but it was great when it first started... What with the Badeek, and all the other old pets. I'll never forget the one that drank beer!

Anyway, what I'm trying to say here is that it is a mere shadow of what it used to be, and if you ever wish to do ANYTHING, you must have a cable/dsl modem or faster and a fast computer. Look up Pikacha if you want to see my account. (No, I didn't call it Pikacha because I liked Pikachu.)

you're right, it was good

and now that i think about it, the only reason I quit was because in a month i got an abundace of neopoints, which is something i tried sooo hard to achieve, i think that's what kept me going

ugh, and i bought my neopet a house and everything
