i also just got back from watching DD.
i have to agree with Ranma on this one. there was indeed too much computer graphics. some parts of the movie i thought were kinda......screwed up and needed a bit more work but as for the character choice's.....VERY NICE!!! they all acted almost perfectly as to how they would in the comics (btw, im not much of a comic reader so i dont know much about any marvel comics but i have read a few)
overall: EXCELLENT MOVIE!!!
lol 1 more thing, after seeing this movie and watching the previews, i cant wait to see X-Men 2 (was wanting to see it really badly anyways), and i also want to see The Hulk more then i did at first! they made that movie look soo much better.

Batman is dark, it's a dark comic, much moreso even than X-man, say.KhayotiK wrote: Batman went bad after Batman Returns, I wish it wouldn't have become the more child-oriented cartoon style, compared to its much more thrilling and picturesque (sp?) predecessors.
Tim Burton knows how to do dark, the other directors (I don't even know who they are) screwed it up.
I had heard that Aronofsky was going to do the next Batman, but I didn't hold out hope, because he seems too much of an auteur. However, there is hope; with the director of Memento at the helm, the next Batman may be decent.
I just can't see Guy Pierce as Batman.
I honestly liked Keaton's performances, he played angst surprisingly well. Well... we'll see, ne?

Guy Pierce, the next Batman? *Loads .45 and sticks it in mouth.* I'd like to actually shoot the people in charge of picking the actors, as Keaton was the only Batman that I fully appreciated. And yes, the first two movies were dark, the way they were meant to be. I just hope that they go back to their roots with this next installment.SecondChild wrote:Batman is dark, it's a dark comic, much moreso even than X-man, say.KhayotiK wrote: Batman went bad after Batman Returns, I wish it wouldn't have become the more child-oriented cartoon style, compared to its much more thrilling and picturesque (sp?) predecessors.
