"enter the codec?"

You don't enter anything...you install it. Just double click on the installer, let it do its thing, then try to play the video you once had trouble seeing. That should fix the problem.

Granted that the video uses Divx.
Or maybe I'm missing something here, and the video is in fact Divx. :?

Download the codec, it's an autoinstall file if you just double click on it, it will do the rest. And download it from divx's website and not kaaza.

Don't forget to run Ad-Aware to kill spyware if you are using DivX 5.
