Well, This seems as if it's getting some good feedback, so I guess we could start preproduction now, and then get started mainly(as in handingout certain scenes to people to edit) later. I was thinking around March or so.

Well, a producer does most of the things a movie producer would do. We look over the editor's tracks, say "fix this, this, and this" or even say "redo the whole thing" we'd also look over the finished product entirely before we handed it over to the publishers.

A producer is basically the head of things. We're in charge of everyone and everything, we take on the most responsiblity, we're everyone's boss, and we're the most likely people who will be called an ass and have a lot fo people hate us during the project. I was hoping WuWu could be a Producer, or assisitant producer since he made the AMV that was my inspiration for this project. But he probably doesn't even know this thread exists, so I might have to PM him about it. 0_o

All I can say is the more people we get the better. If all you want to do is hand out deadlines, and messages to everyone, you could be the person who sets up a mailing list and/or schedules chat times so we can all get together and discuss things, red pill. Or, you could take on all the responsibilties of a producer. Either way, I'm sure there can be a lot of 'jobs' created that haven't been listed yet.

Anyway, I'll be sending a lot of people PMs, unless someone else would like to talk to them for me. If you think it'll go over easier if you asked them and not me. (Who would think a fifteen year old n00b could come up with an idea like this and actually be serious about it?)

Speaking of n00bs, when is the official time period when you're unn00bified? Or is it justified by how good of an AMV creator you are?

Wow. I've gotten an IM from WuWu today even though I didn't PM him(A major grade came up and it's due tomorrow, si I haven't PMed anyone that I said I would) so, I'd like to thank whoever contacted WuWu for me and told him about this thread. I was very surprised he contacted me, and he was surprised about not being PMed. (I said "Wow! You IMed me! And I didn't even PM you yet!" and he says "You didn't?")

Anyway, he said this project was a good idea, but cannot do anything within because he's entangled in other projects at the moment.

I've set a date for use to get started. Or really, a month.

Regardless of how many supporters I get, this project is starting it's pre production(Deciding who doed what, when it should get done, and how to divide up things) in

October

I'd like for anyone who is interested in this project to PM me. Anyone. You don't have to fill any of the 'job' descriptions listed beforehand. Just tell me in the PM what you think you're capable of doing and how you can help the project move along. (i.e. red pill would probably tell me about how he can help me with contacting everyone about release/due dates)

I'd like for all PMs to have the subjected entitled "Matrix Project"
This goes ESPECIALLY if you're going to email me instead of PM. I delete a lot of junk mail without even reading it.

Also, if you can, inside your PM/email please give any suggestions for an official project title. We obviously can't use "Animatrix" and I really don't think "Matrix Project" is too creative.

This is quite funny because I actually posted a subject with the exact same idea in mind, but it was to LOTR, and not to the entire thing. As for this, I would love to get in on this. And as for October, that gives me MORE than enough time to get my computer built (I'll be able to run about 3 different Adobe Videos at the same time, its that fast) and I should also have DSL by then (**gets down and pays for DSL**) and time for me to make some of my own ideas. As for what I could do. I would edit and storyboard if you wanted me to. But nothing like re-animation...that WAY out of my reach. But hey, if you want me in let me know...and I'll PM in a sec...regarding this same thing...

Thanks Setra! Anyone is of great help. Not to mention, I've found this GREAT server I can host stuff on. I have the money for the down payment, now, but I'll have to get a job to maintain it(well, duh. ^^;; ).
So right now All I have to do is concentrate on getting more people, and a part-time job...

Anyhow, if you think you have any friends that are intersted(even those outside the org) please tell them about this. Thank you ^.^

Yay. I guess I'm in. Uhm...I have a friend who like me to mention his name to ya. He's called Neoblade. And he would like to join...but I think that you should probably watch some of his AMVs first...and in that case...opne of mine too...to see if we can actually accomplish what you would like to be able to. I would hate for you to go through all that planning, and then Neo, or even I, am not able to make it like you wanted....the only problem is that I don't have a video that I will release yet...unless you really wanna D-Load one of mine to FF8, but I will have one for ya soon...I hope. Its to Cowboy Bebop and to Fur Elise by Bethoveen and it highlights on Episode 5 when Spike and Vicious first meet in the church/cathedral....its on its way...and I'll let you know so that you can see it, and see if I could actually pull it or not. And if not...no biggie...I can always storyboard for ya.

As for downloading videos, I'm a little busy, but I'll get to it, promise.

However, right now you and your friend are automatically in the project because we don't have enough people as it is. So if any of your friends know friends who want in, tell me.
