MODs, seriously...

Post by MegaMouth » Tue Feb 25, 2003 6:46 am

I am not going to sit here and flame the mods. I am going to lay my argument out plain, simple, and civil.
I do not appreciate that almost everything I have been posting has been edited by the mods in one way or another.I realize why the flames are edited, and the curses towards the mods, but the only reason I posted those is because YOU GUYS started to just pick on my threads. You must have been having a pretty slow day yesterday. This recent outburst mainly steams to have stemmed from me making a little mosh pit post in the AAM section. You kept modding it out, and then just followed me around, changing ALMOST everything I said, or just deleted it completely. Deleting, okay. Telling everyone I love mods: Not cool. Your purpose here is to keep the forum sane while AT THE SAME TIME helping the users out and not sitting there insulting them and telling them to shut up and rewording what they say so as to completely obscure the intended message. I would figure that being in an anime forum, you guys would be against censorship (the same conservative belief that made me have to switch out of learning Japanese in school because it is not "American"). I am going to stop the flame posts for now, but STOP MODDING ME when I am doing NOTHING wrong! If someone says "Hey, lez all party!" and I post "PARTY!!!" or "MAKE A MOSH PIT", I would think that it is on topic and not at all offensive to anyone. So why delete it? If there is a debate over something I make my point by actually recreating the problem (edit button), then dont sit there and mod me out. I am making the point so visible that NO ONE (not even you guys or phade) could miss it! You guys seriously need to just back off. Not everything that every wierd person does on this forum is bad. So don't treat it like it is.
That's all. Please son't just blow this off, and DON'T MOD IT!!! This isn't just about me. It is about alot of the people here that are constantly modded out for shitty reasons.

[MOD671: We do not appreciate the duplicate accounts, or garbage posts. (pointless necroposting, or flames, as you say yourself)]

Ah geez, another moderator rant...

...and here I thought somebody was going to be talking about old-school digital music formats.

It's not really a rant since it is a thought out argument with a few valid points.

Who bloody cares if people write rants or well developed and researched arguments? It's all met with the same childish responses either way. MODS SUXXORS MY COXXORS will be met with the same blatenly uncaring response as Megamouth's opinion about Mod immaturity.

Waits for mods to try to prove themselves by finally responding maturely to a maturely expressed concern...........keeps waiting....

Sounds like you're complaining about the loss of a spam thread.

so sad.

you're all fucking retarded, all the aforementioned points are very valid.

Mod's should fucking back off.

And they shouldnt give a flying fuck about multiple accounts ( I will take back this comment if someone can prove to me what wrong they do. )

and for god's sake stop talking, its so wittay it hurts.

[MOD671: The forum rules state that "Thou shalt only have one user account." Having more than one account clutters the database with junk and makes it unclear as to who is responsible for saying what. Think we're idiots for thinking that you have a duplicate account when it's actually your brother or friend? Stop breaking the rules and giving us reason to suspect you.]
I will obey the Forum rules for sig image size.

mods, temjin really is not = bucket. They both have a bunch of accounts, but none are even shared between the two. Temjin's been gone for a few months anyway. Everything that Kamoc said on that page was true except about Evan.
I dont know this firsthand but I'm pretty close to positive.

[MOD671: I didn't mean to imply that they're the same. The temjin accounts were just a handy example of multiple accts.]
