What's your favourite kiddie Anime!

Post by DiemondDagger » Sun Jun 30, 2002 7:53 pm

Alright this one is hard for me cause I watched em all ^_^
From pokemon to digimon I have seen em all.

And personally I do like Digimon. Third Season was my favorite since the trainers DID something.

But I still stand by the fact that Kiki's Delivery Service was the best 'kiddie' anime movie EVER made!

I don't think I've really watched a kiddie anime. Shame

Cherryboy...I MEAN! Probably the same as you, Digimon...Or if you consider Yu-gi-oh (how ever it's spelled) a kiddie anime.

hamtaro is funny, but Jigglypuff could kick his ass.
Pokemon wins as best all time kiddie anime in my book because its what started the addiction back when I was 11

I have to say that currently Digi Charat is my favorite 'kiddy' anime. And rabi en rose is just so damn hot (gomen Roll-sama, I love you the most!)

Screw all that. My favourite "Kiddie" anime has to be Samurai Pizza Cats. That, and Astroboy. Darn, I missed those shows. I kind of like Pokemon and Digimon as well. Though, I like Digimon 3rd season teh best, as it was more entertaining, in my opinion.

(Notice my sig? Aren't you people proud of me? I put my direct link in my sig that lead to my main a-m-v.org profile, with a cool picture of Urd in my profile. I did ALL by myself, too. Doesn't that just make you proud? )

My comments on some of the "kiddie" anime titles currently on TV/was on TV this season.

Pokemon: This show was one of the shows that led me into becoming an otaku. Very cute and funny.

Digimon: First season took a while to get used to, but it turned out to be good. Second season sucked. Tamers, after you get used to the fact that the show is set in a different universe from the first two seasons, does become interesting (especially when you consider that the show's head writer did Serial Experiments Lain).

Yu-Gi-Oh: Major disappointment IMO.

Mon Colle Knights: The under-rated anime on American TV. People will easily pass it up because it's another Pokemon-like show. However, when you realize that the show is done by Satoru Akahori (Sorcerer Hunters, Saber Marionette J), it is worth a shot.

Hamtaro: Very cute and a lot of fun. Definitely see this as the next Pokemon.
