Political Satire....AMV Style!

Post by Machine » Wed Mar 19, 2003 7:13 pm

THE ORG - A solemn President Kris McCormic officially put the AMV nation on a war footing Monday, issuing an ultimatum to SpPanda to step down within 48 hours from his MOD position or face sure destruction ``at a time of my choosing.'' ``Our nation has a duty to defend our Tyranny by uniting the MODs against the violent outburst of several members on this website. And tonight, as we have done before, www.animemusicvideo.org and our allies accept that responsibility,'' McCormic said.

The president's attitude means that war could begin as early as Wednesday night ORG time

McCormic stressed that he believes the risk of war is less than the risk of inaction.

``In one year, or five years, the power of rogue members that inflict harm on all tyranny nations would be multiplied many times over,'' McCormic said. ``We choose to meet that threat now, where it arises, before it can appear suddenly in our Boards and Threads.''

Around the internet, Forums and international forums are prepared for a war that many oppose, but now feel is inevitable.

``For their own safety, all members for the “Save the Panda” Campaign - including Old and New AMV Creators - should leave The ORG immediately,'' McCormic said.

Immediately after the speech, The MODs of www.animemusicvideos.org raised the national threat level to “high”, thus editing and deleted every type of post that they saw fit. MOD467 was in charge of the brigade.

``Terrorists Organization “Save the Panda” will attempt multiple attacks against The ORG and coalition targets of The Secret Brotherhood of THE MOD.''

``These attacks are not inevitable. They are, however, possible,'' McCormic said. ``And this very fact underscores the reason we cannot live under the threat of blackmail. The terrorist threat to The ORG and the MODs will be diminished the moment that SpPanda and his terrorist group known as “Save the Panda” is disarmed.''

[PS, This is a small political AMV Satire I thought up of. MODs are not allowed to touch it because I portray it as a matter of Comedy and Satire and not a pesonal attack.]

[MOD287: Moved, as this really has nothing to do with AMVs at all.]

I would like to address my stern disaproval of this course of action. For today, to ensure our security, all the dimensions of the problem must be taken into account: both the manifold crises and their many facets. Nothing lasting in our relations to each other can be built without dialogue and respect for the other. To ignore this is to run the risk of misunderstanding, radicalization and spiraling violence. This is even more true on AnimeMusicVideo.org's forums, an area of fractures, where stability must be a major objective for all of us.

To those who think that the scourge of terrorism will be eradicated through the case against SpPANDA, I say they run the risk of failing in their objectives. The outbreak of force in this area which is so unstable can only exacerbate the tensions and fractures on which the terrorists feed.

"You must first practice tolerance, before you can teach it"

That was done in rather poor taste Machine. I respect your opinions but you have been acting quite childish in voicing your complaints these past few days. It would be nice if you would just express your concerns about the MODs and Phades decisions (or whatever your concerns may be) in a consice manner and post it in a relevent part of the forum (i.e. site suggestions) or e-mail them to phade.

I can't help it. This Whole SpPanda Banning inceident has been the greatest thing since sliced bread.

But on a serious note. Call it whatever you want. I'm not killing anyone. Just stating what I think of the current situation. Tis all. But you gave your opinion too. Tis healthy to voice your opinion and not be modded for it
