I was really busy this past weekend... This week looks like it's going to be very busy for myself as well.. But not that bad this weekend. I may be able to get a beta completed this weekend and send it to the ftp server. It's just that I have so many other things that are going on in my life right now... Friends leaving(hanging out with them before they leave), work, and sleep deprivation...

Hmm... I shall re-encode tomorrow to make sure. Looks like I did everything right, but might as well be thorough.

i dont know why, but my Huffyuv encode is.....small. i have about 50% of it done and when i encode it, its like only 7 megs big. oh well

anyways, im preaty busy this week as well. i have work to deal with and now drivers ed. not a single day this week im not doing either. and lets not forget to mention school! ARRRG!

My HuffYUV (YUY2) is 111MB and that's with SSHQ, Convo3D, and 2DClean on it!

Guys, I would just upload a lower quality XviD version of your video FIRST as your beta. I think it would be nice if you also included MP3 compressed audio 64 - 128Kbit audio. This way we can easily screen your section with out having to drag it into Premiere and Premiere hates XviD anyways >_> atleast on my comp.

I haven't confirmed this with danny, but I think this would be the best way to demo the segments. This would prevent you from uploading 200MB files and then us telling you ! :O you messed up in this small little section(I don't know if we're that anal).

Anyways.

I have the FTP up. Before I give out the login info please READ THE FOLLOWING.

HOW TO NAME YOUR FILE PROPERLY

[Location on tracklist] [name] [video status].avi

"Location on tracklist" is just the number you are on the <a href=http://kproject.home.attbi.com/MI2/tracklist.htm"> MI:2 Tracklist</a>. So if you're at the top it'd be 01 if you're at the bottom you'd be 24. Include a zero in front of your number if it's a single digit 1 - 9.

"Name", just your Name as it appears on the tracklist.

"Video status" is either of two things. "FINAL" or BETA".

If something happens to your connection while uploading your video and you must upload it again ad a dash and then the attempts you've made. For instance if you just got disconnected and it failed uploading and you must upload it again, add a -02, if that fails add -03... etc. You may also try to resume uploading, I am not sure if that will work though.

Different version of how my filename would appear:

Final version:
"03 Klinky FINAL.avi"
Beta version:
"03 Klinky BETA.avi"
Third upload attempt of final version:
"03 Klinky FINAL-03.avi"

If you are behind a router(most likely this is the case if you're at a college, internet cafe or you have more then one computer at your house with internet access) then you may need to enable "Passive Mode". If you have trouble at all with uploading you may try to enable passive mode.
