Favorite Anime Quotes!

Not that the quote itself is very awesome, but I thought the last scene in Episode 55 in the Kenshin/Soujirou fight is my favorite line. I might add it is only awesome in Japanese as well as the Soujirou VA in the dub is horrible:

""Ano toki anata wa...boku o mamodekuruna katanjanaidesukara. Anata ga tadashitoyunara. Nande Mamodekurunankotodesu?!?!"

"That night....you didn't protect me at all. If you really speak the truth, why didn't you protect me?!?!"

I think (IMHO) this was the climax of the show. The music, the voice inflections, the sword strikes...everything was perfect.

For those of you who read it anyway, this is a scene where Soujirou breaks. He blames Kenshin's faulty (cough pussy cough) philosophies for not protecting him (not necessarily Kenshin) and that only Shishio's philosophy saved him. The cliffhanger to this is amazing too (nothing like Saitoh stabbing Kenshin). Soujirou is charging Kenshin and it zooms in on Kenshin screaming "SOUJIROU!!!!" as Soujirou gets close to striking him.

AHHH! I wish I was at home so I could watch this again .

All of those are really good quotes, especially the Legato ones. Ah... his voice in Japanese is sooo cool....

Anyways, I have a couple favorites I thought of right off the bat:

Chii, on a mission:
"Pantsu!"

Hideki, after looking at half-naked Chii:
"NICE!" :nosebleed: followed soon after by "VERY NICE!" :nosebleed:

Nicholas D. Wolfwood, walking with Milly:

After watching one of my Kenshin DVD's (Fire Requiem, I believe), I wondered what it sounded like in english, so I watched the outtakes. Very hilarious, but it's so bad in english O.o However, I laughed so hard at the quotes for that:

Sano, leaning on Kenshin:
"Let's go get a sandwich."

During the Amakakeru ryu no hirameki:
Shishio: "THE FORCE FROM HIS FART BLEW THE AIR AWAY FROM ME!"

And my personal favorite:
Saitou: "It's all about the bling-bling."

I have tons more, but can't think of them... ^.^

My fave quote would have to come from Rurouni Kenshin. I'm not sure when this quote was said, but it cought my eye. So here is the quote "Kaoru-dono, I have to leave now and this time you can't come after me like you did when I went to Kyoto.
