American POW vids

Post by blackout_sehs » Sun Mar 23, 2003 6:37 pm

I just want to say that anyone that thinks that The Coalition forces should not take down the current Iraqi regime should take a look at the news and watch the video that was broadcast in Iraq, of American soldiers who have been taken prisoner. They were executed and piled up and some interagated on camera. I know some people are going to say that this woudnt have happened if we were not fighting this war, but i want to remind you that this happens to the Iraqi civilians everyday who do not support Husen and his men. I am just appaled at this video and I am also fed up with the anti-war protests going on around the country. You people need to take a real look at what happens over there every day and quit blaming this war on oil. I dont care that oil prices are on the rise...I only support the troops in combat who are fighting to keep men like Sadam from infringeing on the freedoms that we enjoy everyday.

The world is a sick place anyway. I don't think a war is the solution, and I CERTAINLY don't think the U.S is going in there for humanitarian reasons. But I do think Saddam is a sadistick fuck, and something must be done to deal with it. I just hope it's over quick.
And in order to avoid controversies, I'll swallow the rant on who put Saddam there in the first place.
I like bugging people. Deal with it.

Saddam put himself there. We helped give him a boost in the 80s, though.

Oh well, hopefully this mess will work out.

What do you expect them to do, we are bombing them in their homes, and killing them. Do you expect them to just let the POWs sit around and drink tea? They are angry and venegence is at the top of their list. Its wrong but in war bad things happen that shouldn't happen to any one, that includes the people from Iraq.

Sooooo..... oil has nothing to do with it right, is that why before this whole thing started they divided up who would get what after the war. If this was just about Saddam we wouldn't be doing what we are doing now, there is no reason to bomb innocents just for one man.

Considering what is going on, it is probably in their best interest to do so.

Bush is the lesser of two evils.

That sums up my thoughts on the matter.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab
