Yeah, I had to correct a guy the other day at suncoast, he was trying to explain that they call Goku son so much out of respect. At that point I had to step in and explain that Son was his family name. I think he got san and son a little confused.

well if you thought that was boring i guess you'd bloody hate Midnight on the Galactic Railroad. i think that's what it's called. i got the book but i've seen the anime first. my sister in law didn't really like it cuz, well i guess she thought it was boring. but i mean so what if it doesn't have mad explosions or things like that, i still liked it, it was kinda weird. but in a good way.

oh i see. yes as i said i probably somewhat misinterpreted it. i apologize. but yes you cleared it up. personally i think though, about the 8 year old being at the south park movie, it doesn't matter. in all reality i don't believe children are as easy to manipulate as people think so i don't see any harm in it. they have "naughty language" who cares if you don't know that stuff by the time you're 8 you've been sheltered. and the same goes with nudity and such. i may not have been the smartest boy but i could certainly grasp simple concepts as right and wrong, and things being appropriate for myself, i didn't need my parents or anybody else telling me what the hell was going on.

As you can see there are some fairly significant edits (namely in Sano's episodes and his past). I might also add that whoever is doing this is a retard. Stuff like editing out the smoke from a cigar, but still having the cigar in Yamagata's mouth. Also, editing out people unconcious from Kenshin's reverse blade. The point of his blade is that hey doesn't kill people. Argh![/url]

yeah i've been watching. i really like it so naturally whenever it is i actually get money that's something to add to the shopping list. but you can really notice how chopped it is sometimes. like it will just cut from one scene to another and it simply wouldn't make any sense. like today, although i was drifting in and out of sleep so maybe that explains it, kenshin was crouched with his back turned to some other manslayer and the other guy whipped out a shortsword and had it brought above his head and it went to kenshin picking up his sword then, the guy falls over. no flash of light no movement, just plop, he's on the ground. so what happened is it cause kenshin groin hit him or something? Sayonara.

Well, if you like it CN-wise, I HIGHLY recommend it because well..it's ten times better when unedited and in japanese (IMO).

That scene? Yeah Jinei stabs Kenshin's shoulder (I assume this is where Kenshin dodges his attack and blocks it with his hilt?). There's not even any death there..wtf?

wow i can't belive that this thread is still going ... it's been more then a month that it's been up and it keeps finding it's way to the top ... and i'm not helping it die any either ... danm me and my craptacular hypocracy! Oh, and anything televised in north america, expect it to be butchered, if it isn't then consider that reason to celebrate.
