The 312x56 aplha channel is an error message when you look at it. My guess is that you are using DVD2AVI 1.7x, try using 1.8x (get it at doom9.org). This is a common problem that alot of people (including me) have had.

WOOT!!! I finally got it to work. I downloaded D2VAVI 1.86, and it seems to have done the trick..... Thanks so much for all of you help! ^_^
