Is blood and Gore in Anime too much...?

I agree I really don't like James Bond Either... I prefer a guy who can kick some major ass with a sword on fire...

this is amusing once you think about it, its like... um... lemme put it this way... someone just suddenly flying across the room bleeding like hell is good, some like getting shot and not bleeding to much is good, but if like someones head is like cut off and like a shizzny load of blood... would depend on the person... if its like some rich shizzny its good, if its the main charecter it can be good and then, if its a side character, its usually bad, unless there only like in the 1rst eppy of a anime. thats all i have to say about it.

hmmm twisted is good too sometimes ... in the case of pokemon specificly, i wouldn't mind seeing pikachu's severed head rolling on the floor ...

Personally I'm indifferent, but I don't believe that I necessarily what makes anime better. It is just something that is associated with the anime you are watching. I watch fight scenes for how the fights are animated and choreographed. Basically if the fight sucks and is covered in blood and guts, it still sucks.

Berserk had a lot of this in it and almost did not become animated because they thought it was to bloody. They only showed it durning late night because they thought it was unsuitable for daytime and primetime.

Here is a question? How did Grifith keep that white armor so clean during battle. In fact guts only spills his own blood on his armor. How?
