I do it, and I hate it. When I'm a big bad adult, I'm going to hate people like myself. My most peevish-peeve is when people don't have reasons for their opinion. Such as a parent saying 'NO!'. In pure curiosity ( ) you have to ask 'why' and the typical response is 'Because I said so!'. I can't stand it. I always want reasons, but I do not always have them myself. I question authority, and they just say 'because it's the way that it has always been'..... Well that's not good enough for me.
Whenever I do it, I always try to come up with reasons, but I don't always succeed. It has been said.

I do it all the time, and don't mind at all. I tell people what will generally benefit them, if they don't follow that's their problem. If I don't follow that's my problem. Simple as that, really. Everyone's a hypocrite several time in their life, no matter how hard they try not to be.
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

I'm honoured! ~_^HungryCrackPot wrote:It's human. Stop complaining. This thread is officially faggosaruas.
It's also human to spend your life trying to achieve self-actualization. We're always trying to better ourselves. Some people say it's human to cheat, but does it make it right?
I just find that if a person doesn't follow by the same standards they set for their peers, they lose all credibility. Why should someone respect what you say, if you're not going to respect it yourself. -_-

I usually have a reason too. But sometimes I attempt to try the parents trick on them of "just cuz". Funny how it never works on my side thoughBrolli411 wrote:Such as a parent saying 'NO!'. 1. yep, evangelistic activity...and i'm an aitheist.Anime Jedi wrote:Ever find yourself preaching about something, but not following it yourself?
I hate it when people do this, and I hate myself even more when I do it. I just throw all self-respect out the window when I do something like that. What kind of example do I set with that?
2. lol, you're an idiot. it's not a big deal...unless you realy think it is, than you have too much time.

Shhh... let's just keep that between us. :: shifty eyes ::Lyrs wrote:2. lol, you're an idiot.
Anyways, this is normally used as a counter against someone who tells you to do something. "Why should I do it, if you don't?" This leaves you speechless, with no well made response to counter it. -_- Why not just eliminate the chance to use it against you?
