Johnny Young Bosch's PERFORMANCE of Vash has always been excellent, in my opinion. As for:
Dorothy Melendrez as Meryl Stryfe
Jeff Nimoy as Nicholas D. Wolfwood
Lia Sargent as Milly Thompson

..They each complement their respective characters with that vocal "personality" befitting of them. So what if they don't SOUND right. Japanese and English language don't sound the same anyway, especially the people (japanese women naturally have a higher pitch) . So of course it's going to be different. What matters is the performance.

The one thing that I am sure they will cut will be head shots and suicides. If they leave them in there I will really suprised. I didn't watch Trigun except for a few scenes last night for one good reason, I have seen the whole damn thing like 10 times!!!! Its cool that they are showing more diverse anime but I hope that they show more genres of anime not just action. They need to show a comedy, romance and drama type anime. So far they cant seem to get out of "super saiyan" mode. What I mean is they look for the most action packed anime with flashy things. That might be ok for little kids but its not very diversed. "Tom" said it best "toonami is your #1 place for action cartoons."

~6 hours until the pain begins again....I must make a mental note never to go to Cartoon Network after 10 P.M. on weekdays. I did last night and it was like watching a car wreck...I just couldn't turn the channel :(. Maybe this is some weird Freudian thing...

CN should just go and air aniems they don't need to edit (or edit much) Trigun is the ideal CN show. While Eva and kenshin are somethign that hsould be left to another network.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

Yeah, but too bad they put Kenshin and Eva on the "toonami" (kids) time slots. My guess is they didn't even watch them or know what they're getting into.

I'm curious if anyone saw the episode of Kenshin yesterday. I'm curious as to the edits since half of the episode is (SPOILERS AHEAD) Aoshi's group getting murdered/shot-up by a gatling gun. We know that A) death is bad B) Guns are bad. What're they going to do? Go from an already mangled, heavily edited Aoshi fight...straight to the end? That would make the episode what...10 minutes?

Hey come on. I think Johnny Yong Bosch did a great job, considering it was his first anime role. Besides who wouldn't want a Power Ranger doing anime, jk  and he's asian so he sounds a little more convincing doing anime voices.
Sorry I'm late, I was out saving your lives.....in the future!

I have to admit, Milly's VA is doing a bit better in ep 2 than she did in ep 1. I suppose she needed a bit of time to get the mannerisms down.

Methinks I've been a bit uptight about it...
