Shoujo-con AMV Creator's Gathering.

If we have 5 people who pre-register we can sign up for a time using their rooms for fan gathering. Here are the open time slots so far. So also mention what time you think would be best for the meeting.

It really upsets me that Shoujocon moved to NY. The past two years have been great, but because they moved I might not be able to go.

Mike, I know what you mean. I'm so pissed Shoujocon is now in NY! That was my home con, man, ya know? I mean, literally! Drive 10 minutes from the university, and we're there.

But anywho, I'll still be going. It just wouldn't be the same if I missed out. been to every Shoujocon so far, heh.

Well I'm flying into New York Wensday Morning, and spending Wensday and Thursday in New York City. Seeing sights and attending a few broadway shows.

If anyone wants to join me for sight seeing, etc... let me know. I have a hotel room for Wensday and Thursday night in the theater district and more then willing to allow people to crash there. I am still looking for a room to share for the convention, Friday - Monday.

Hey everyone. Ya know I'm gonna be there. I'm sending in my preregistration sometime soon so I'll send you the number sometime Anneke. I've also gotta finish my entry for the contest!!!

Sorry about the move -- that hotel just wasn't working out for us logistically and financially. Not to mention some of the problems we had last year... This new hotel in NY is a very convention-friendly place, we have a lot more room, and we anticipate a great year from it.

At least the move probably means more people to see your videos!

Anneke, I'll be there (obviously) but I have no clue on whether I'll be free or not since I have to cover all consuite shifts my staff don't have. FYI, the Ice Cream Party will be Friday night, and we'll have the Pocky Party on Saturday night.

Well being that your staff...and maybe busy... maybe you can suggest a time for the AMV creators gathering. That way you can go. However this time I'm not going to miss the ice cream and pocky gatherings. Maybe I should bring some of the pocky we have out here. There is a new Blueberry flavor that is yummy, and I now addicted to Tomato pocky.

LOL -- after last year, I'm actually planning on buying most of the japanese snacks in S.F. and hauling them out with me on the plane. The New York stores had most of the regular stuff I wanted, but not all of the odd and interesting bits I had planned to leave out for the adventuresome at heart.

I'll try and set the staff schedules sometime this month so I'll know when I can be free. I might be moderating some of the panels too... uh, okay, don't count on me being free at any specific point in the con. ;-p I'll have to wait for an AMV-gathering at a con that I'm not working, LOL
