A-kon is almost here.....

Well Akon will be taking place in a little over a month. I was wondering who still had plans to go and if and where we should meet up. I wont be there until 7 am Saturday but I hope that I wont miss that much:

Concerts
AMV Contest
SSBM Tournament

*starts getting depressed*

Oh well.

Err...I think the contest is on Saturday. Actually, is the schedule even up? I was going to start a thread like this closer to the con, but oh well...

From what I know, I *think* these people will be in attendance:

-Myself
-Adiamante - Johnathan Watson
-Hitori - James Schmark (sp)
-Machine - Carlos Corral
-Wonka - Willem Milo
-Beowulf - Julian Milo
-MexicanJunior - Junior Sotero
-DannyWilson - er...Danny Wilson

Most of us will be hanging out during the con, so it won't be that difficult to get dinner or something together (shrug).

Not if Brad DeMoss enters

. I wasn't there last year, but I heard he cleaned house and also that A-kon likes him in general...not that there's anything wrong with that since he makes good videos.

It'll also be hard since there aren't any categories...just Best of Show, Technical and Artistic. I have talked to them about this twice (as well as digital submission since going to tape is probably the worst type of "compression" possible).

I think Castor will be welcomed with open hearts.....remember, he gets respect than most of us since he won an award last year at AKon with Dragon Bebop Z.
