Parents + AMV = ?

I just showed my dad my newest AMV, and I have never had a harder time pulling the truth out of him. He hated it. He thought it was awful, and that's really strange because my parents have liked all of my other videos. I'm just curious, do any of you show your parents your music videos? It's one of the reasons that I never have nudity or swearing in any of my vids, but what about you guys? Do your parents aprove of your AMV creations?

I showed my mum my <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/legacy/ ... 086">Reign In Blood Video</a> and she was proud at the fact I am able to do these things......but lets just say that video is not something everybodies moms and pops would approve of. Still, she liked it.

My Dad wouldn't say anythign after he saw it.

Eventhough I'm 26, I still couldn't bring myself to show PFS to my parents.

I did show them Liquid Petals though and my dad loved it, my mom was kind of weary of the lesbian undertones. =P

My parents approve of my amv creations so they know I'm actually doing something productive on the computer.

Although they've never seen any of my amvs

Actually, my father really love anime and actually has bought somethings that I don't even have! He is my first critic of my AMVs and gives me helpull tips and feedback! My mother watches then as well and really enjoys them. It seems that they even show them off to thier friends as well. So I guess I'm lucky to have parents who understand my hobbies and enjoy what I produce....

me and kamoc's mom says that the japs are gonna take over the america usa world, so i don't think she'll enjoy amvs too much. and my dad says i need to take advatage of premiere's effects more, not just clip up footage and place it where i feel it belongs. ILL USE EFFECTS WHEN THE VID REQUiRES EM!! im not just gonna have the fucking clip spin around cause it be tight yo

my parents are cool about it, my dad likes the guns and violence and crap, finds it cool like i do, not too big into the music, but i wary my choices anyway, he'll be happy when i get around to doing one for Elvis's "My Way", which happens to be my next vid. My mom could give a rats ass about anime and has no fucking clue whut i do on the computer all the time. Some people get it and others don't, my dad still doesn't completely understand why I do it just that i do and it's cool.

Hope my insight helps, evenm if it doesn't well, fuck you, i said it and you can't do shit about it. lol
