Klipsch pro media 5.1

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. IT IS THE FUCKING BOMB. i just got it today hooked it up to my laptop via the head phone jack and man it thumps. teh only problem I have is 2 of the speakers wont play the rear right and rear left. I am thinking it is because of the audio jack. because their are ports on the back of the sub for those channels. does anyone know why i am having this problem. while it is only playing 3 of the 6 speaker set it rocks and i am happy with it. IT was well worth the 330 dollars i spent and the wait. These speakers malke watching my amvs all that much sweeter. I definatly recommend them to anyone thinking of buying a speaker set. Go all out or dont go out at all.

I believe, but I am not certain, that 5.1 speakers need a 5.1 audio card that has two mini(headphone) jacks. If you have a older model laptop(or even a newer one), this is not likely going to be on there.

Laptop sound is not a real priority since like, who the fuck hooks up Klipsch's to a Laptop O_O?

the speakers are for the killer desktop i am building. I just hooked them up to my laptop because thats wht i have right now. and i wanted to hear how it sounded. like i said earlier their are three jacks on the back of the sub that cnnecct to the sound card that will be on my desktop. i only have a headphone jack on my laptop so i just used that.

yeah you gotta have a 5.1 soundcard for the full effect....and yes Klipsch pro media r0xx0rz!!!

Yes, many laptops dont have that extra surround sound jack. However most newer model motherboards have them built in so you might not need to buy a sound card. Looks for a black audio jack that accompianies a the green one,

i got somez Creative Inspire 5.1s, i had not enough money for them big dogs but hey, it beats 2 crappy little things that Dell sends ya. With 5.1 I have become a panther of |337 waiting to pounce on little turkeys who do not sence my presence of doom.

haha, i decided to for the medium end stuff. I wanted nice sound for a reasonable price; so i bought the Logitech Z-540s
