For each syllable, you can expect anything in the range of 3 to 7 frames: the lower end being closed -> half-open -> open, and the higher end including tweening between those three keyframes.Jerrit Tenurb wrote:Yes. That was what I meant. I suppose it would be a lot of frames.
That's been my experience, having worked with high-budget anime for film or some other special project (e.g. Metropolis, Wings of Honneamise, anything on the Animatrix DVD) and your typical TV series (Evangelion, Kanon).
