You guys, earth Current is right, get off your lazy asses and get a job.

You don't just go out and buy hundreds of anime DVDs you know.

Veldrin, my DVD collection comes from 2 and a half years of part time jobs. 5.15 at a grocery store for a year, at 16 hours a week. The rest was I'd say on average 6.00 an hour at about 20 hours a week.

My collection is probably 1/3 - 1/4 what EC's is.

and EC himself is a single guy making career earnings as a college professor, he's been making money for a long time.

I don't think either one of our colllections are that impressive. It's all a matter of getting a job and choosing where to spend your money.

Not to mention sure this is 2 and halfs worth of Anime, technicly speaking, but I don't think I've bought any in over a year or so. I think last time i bought somehting was A-kon @ Dallas, in June

yes, jace yoru right, i need a job, but i'm not asking for any, just when you say only ... well thats kinda ... well you get the idea. It's just weird ... when you say only, keep in mind that i just started, and i know i need a job. I plan on looking for one once i get my history research paper in ...

yeah, I counted, it's 64 if I'm not leaving anything out.

Oh! yeah, I'm leaving Evangelion out. but that's on VHS, and it was given to me.

But I guess it doesn't seem like much to me because of the little bit of anime I have. I mean forget the number of DVDs, I tend to buy by series, and I don't have too many.

Alright, as I name series it's implyed I own the whole thing, unles I note otherwise, this is what I've got:

Gundam Wing + Movie
Trigun
Escaflowne + Movie
Bubble Gum Crisis Tokyo 2040
Slayers
Cowboy Bebop
Dragon Ball Z (First 53 episodes/first 2 boxsets)
Neon Genesis Evangelion (all on vhs, so it doesn't count towards the count of 64)

That's all I've got, 7 series, 2 movies, and 2 DBZ boxsets.

well i jsut ofund some other stuff that i had ... none of it is anime though

... somone gave me the spiderman collector box set, so thats 2 divds there, spider man the movie and some bonus dvd. then theres the vhs's i found, i found aliens: legacy, 4 a VHS box set and Godzilla vs Megalon, the greatest dub job in history ... i honestly musht have watched that movie at least 40 tiems, it's pretty danm funny ...

There's more stuff on the walls now tho, signed ataris poster, warped tour 2002 poster, a surf and bora bora collage I made for school, more surfing posters. More stickers on my desk, just in general there's a little bit more everywhere.
