btw AD also told me about cutting out clips but wont that be very time consuming???????

You'll have to cut the clips up anyways to synch them.

If you do a Direct Stream Copy it's really fast on exporting the clip from virtualdub.

You can add a hard drive to your computer with out hurting your current one. You'll have to take the case off (duh), just alot of parents are weary of kids opening their computer...

How much space is left on this computer?

I can't imagine your family cosuming all that space.... 'specially if they're of the unl33t type.

Best price/size ratio right now is 80GB 7200RPM drives. Which run about $90
