Himura Kenshin vs. Yagyu Jubei

So I hear you all dislike these questions. I looked back and couldn't find anything about jubei and kenshin, so I got curious.

I root for Jubei, simply because he's my hero. Sitting at a haunted temple, asking the wraiths if they want any food when they come to scare him etc. Anyways. Kenshin would probably go with his Vash-attitude and try not to kill. But let's say he would.

What do you think?

i'm gonna have to go with jubie kibagame from ninja scroll to show up and kill both they asses, kenshin will sit there explaining tactics and talking like an idiot (i have seen samuria x and thats about 90% of that anime) but i don't know who yagyu jubie is if he's who i think he is (the guy from onimusha 2) then he wouldn't stand a chance against jubie.

Oh, that's a literary term. Translates literally to "god from a machine", referring to ancient Greek plays where some seemingly impossible-to-win situation was resolved through "divine intervention". This divine intervention was displayed through a "god" that was suspended from the ceiling by wires usually, so that's where the machine aspect comes from.

But nowadays, it's just a fancy way of talking about a cheesy plot device. Like when there's seemingly no plausible way that the hero of the story can overcome whatever challenge he's facing, so they throw in something that comes out of nowhere and helps turn the tide and saves the day.

And Yagyu Jubei is a japanese legendary swordsman from feudal japan, (feudal japan, I think). Jubei from Ninja Scroll and Ninja resurrection is based upon Yagyu Jubei. A lot of movies have a Jubei in them, There's even one about a samurai girl who's name is Jubei. But I think that you, gats, are talking about the real Jubei =)

They changed his name from yagyu to Kibagame for reasons unkown to me. Stupid change, same guy though =)
