Oh yeah, none. For that matter, the Native Americans were the sad price that was paid for the march of progress into the present day. I've got NA in me, and even I can say this. And if you want genocide in the name of conquering, pre-WWII Japan is a fine example.

Anime and sliced bread don't compare on a general level because: Anime is a genre of artistic expression. Sliced bread is an industrial marketing procedure, designed to sell a product (loaves of bread) via the suggestive application of convenience.
It's like comparing apples and sink pipes.
Anyhow, sliced bread can typically win out in most comparisons, due to the fact that there is no such thing as bad sliced bread, and it can be a lifesaver when you're starving. There's plenty of bad anime, on the other hand, and good luck eating those DVDs, since they're only good for holding digitized video signals.

I've never explicitly stated any hatred for Japan, the Japanese people, or their culture. I've expressed disdain for aspects of it, and I'll just as readily express disdain for stupid or disturbing instances of American culture ("freedom" fries, "Who Wants To Marry A Millionaire?", nu-metal, and Attorney General John Ashcroft come to mind).
Unlike, say, you, who has had nothing but shit to say about the US of A. There's lousy shit all over the world. There's plenty of good stuff, too. I'm just exchanging tit for tat.
