I've tried those, But nothing near the place has come up. Is anyone going to the AWA?(AWA-Anime Weekend Atlanta Its in September, but we need to book a room now....)

Try again. Doing a quick second seach on Expedia I found 25 hotels within 2 miles of the con that range in price from $35.99 - $129 for 1 room with 1 adult.

I was wondering the same thing the other day, but I just ended up making a reservation at the con hotel. I'll be splitting the room so it's not that big a deal.

How much did that cost? Musta been alot......My friends I'm going w/lives only half an hour away so we're gonna stay at her house..or some friends of mine are getting a motel room and wiil sneak in and stay w/them...bad us, yeah...

I understand that there's still quite a few rooms left in the "con rate" block for the convention hotel. Plenty o' people are procrastinating 'cause of the economy. Snatch yourself up a room while there's still time! ($104 a night isn't VERY cheap...but it's not too bad if you're splitting a room a couple ways like I am.)
