I pronounce it something like "New-ar". Noir is indeed a French word, like Hakura said.

I've french at school and we pronounce it like this way...

"No-a"

"No" like the english word no and
"a" like aaahh (how the german say the A in the alphabet...)

Well, the way I think to pronounce Noir is the same way to pronounce the name of the band GWAR. So, it would be phonetically Nwar.

It is actually pronounced "no-ar" as Hakura said. Except that you have to make the "r" more agressive, like in german.
K keep saying "new-ar", easier for you, huh 8)?

Years of forgotten french say Rozard is the closest.

"Nwaar!" is the crude version for you, 'zard's version is more gramatically correct.
