I agree. Tom, your making this way too much work. Lets just get fucked up, waddayasay champ?
Beer pong, as much as I would like to play, just isn't possible at this party. There are gonna be way too many kids there, unless we got a really small table, and whats the fun in that?
Unless of course we could play on a balcony or something. That could be rad.

Actually, the Katsucon 2002 video is 80% done. I just got bogged down by schoolwork and couldn't add the soundtrack. I can finish it seeing as now school is over and I am virtually free all the time now. Hmm...maybe I could even work on it at work, seeing as I have made myself a semi-permanent desk and never do anything anyway.
As for CBB, I can still videotape as well. I think it'd be cool if we focused on 4-5 people and just followed them around most of the time. If FinalCut-Kun and I were both filming, we could get a lot more con goodness and a quality documentary would be VERY possible. I like it.
Lemme know what you think.

Documentary
Way, I'm definately into it. By the way, (no pun intended) did you go to marist? If so, who are you? And who is Moooo? I am vague on who these people are in reality Anyway (again, no pun) drop me an email. j.pisano@odysseytek.net . We'll talk.
FYI- I'd be shooting DV, Panasonic PVDV 852 (only a 1 chip, but it's got a sweet leica lens). Might even be able to get some wireless lavs. Lemme know.

Beer pong (beirut) would be a nice addition, but as moooooo mentioned, that's precious partying space that's being taken up by 4 people, instead of the possible 10+ that could fit in that space. Two problems with the balcony (if it exists): 1) Wind blows. Ping pong ball goes bye bye....lands on someone, they die. 2) The smokers need someplace to smoke. Don't want to force them to cramp outside with a beer pong game.moooooo wrote:I agree. Tom, your making this way too much work. Lets just get fucked up, waddayasay champ?

I would love to see the finished product of that video, as would everyone else that was part of that con...should prove to be some good footage.Way wrote:Actually, the Katsucon 2002 video is 80% done. FinalCut-Kun has suggest Myself, Brad, Tom...and I added in Kusoyaro and Paizuri....I'm thinking a documentary with interviews and shit like that would pretty much rule as little extras inbetween the party/goofiness/con footage. I would suggest bringing lots of ammo for your camera. I would love it if both of you would work together to film it....the editing afterwards we'll talk about some other time.Way wrote:As for CBB, I can still videotape as well. I already explained to minute-midget-man this morning who you guys were, so you don't have to respond here. Way, feel free to collaborate with the cockgobbler on this project.FinalCut-Kun wrote:Way, I'm definately into it. By the way, (no pun intended) did you go to marist? If so, who are you? On the topic of music:
Last year's setup worked pretty well, so I'm figuring on just bringing my speakers again, and whoever had the mp3 player (I wanna say either Alan or Omar) can bring that too, and much happiness will ensue. Not that most of us noticed the music anyway, being crazy trashed and all, but hey, its the principle of the thing.
