Well, they're gonna license it anyway. BASTEADS! I'm among those that just bought the box, and now this. Well, I'll keep my current bux unless they also add a 5.1 mig for the other language(s) plus manage to make a anamorphic pring outta the movies.

Speaking of THE movie, ADV & Gainax isnt alone. Story/acting will most likely suck, but WETA workshop is doing the special effects. If you have no clue who that is I'll simply say: "Lord of The Ring trilogy"

It basically says:

First part: it's been announced already at Cannes that NGE will be made into a movie by ADVfilms. (paraphrased)

ADV Films is the american productoin centre which overseas distribution of the Japanese in the US and has made it popular .

The visual design movie is being done by New Zealand Weta Workshop who produces the lord of the rings.

As for announcement contents from ADV Films corporation their site is www.advfilms.com.

For more details, please wait for future announcement.

Yeah, but WETA workshop doesn't automatically mean LOTR quality effects.

WETA did LOTR but they also do Hercules and Zena.

Now, which quality do you think ADV can afford?

well due to people's expectations, you'd at least hope that they'd try and consider LOTR quality.

There is no way ADV can afford LOTR quality. It would cost them millions to make a good NGE movie and ADV just ain't got the money.
