It's a kick ass series is what kind it is. I'd have to say the worst anime I've seen is Metropolis, it was awful.

ghost in the shell the movie (overrated, its pretty lame/boring)
I agree. Over-rated IMO...not shitties though.

I'd have to disagree on this one. I like this title quite a bit..then again I had to watch it again for Iron Chef and that's why it's in my mind so much (shrug).

Shittiest anime? I haven't seen it, but from Fluxmeister's Psychological Damage (WTF) I wanna say "Big Wars." I suggest watching the video :).[/url]

funny you should mention Red Hawk. Whats weird about this anime is the fight scence near the end (or middle).....lol if you watch VERY carfully on that fight then watch Street Fighter The Animated Movie and watch the fight at the start with Ryu and Saget (lol i can never remember how to spell his name) its EXACTLY the same expect for the obvious things like character, weather, and size of the characters and such, Red Hawk uses the EXACT same moves as Ryu did in the Animated movie and the angle is also EXACT.........if this makes scence and you have a chance to observe this, do so ^_^ its kinda funny

yeah. i know..

those silly koreans.. they could have at least tried to make something that doesnt comletely suck.. man, ive seen better plots on the back of my cereals.

plus, whats the point of making a fighting anime if youre not gonna show some actual carnage?

btw, wasnt Blood:the last vampire made partially by a korean team?
another dissapointing title btw.. pretty animation, nice directing, but theres only so much you can do with the shallowest plot ever :|
Wonderful Days (made by a korean team) which I hope is brought over seen looks very promising.

Battle Angel Alita is actually quite good..but it was cut short after 2 eps, from what I've heard the manga is really great, and the artwork is bitchin from what I've seen (a friend brought the manga to school for some ideas on something to do in art)

as for what I hate Sailor Moon, yes nothing new for you to hear, I just couldn't ever get past it's power ranger style dopeyness, and seemingly unintimidating villans.

Fist of the North Star: The only thing good about this series is the laugh from making fun of the names they call their attacks. "Finger Bang of the South Star" "1000 Fists of Orgasmic Destruction"
"If you believe in yourself, eat all your school, stay on milk, drink your teeth, don't do sleep, and get your eight hours of drugs, you can get WORK!"
Paperskunk:...PENIS!!!!!!!!! GIANT PENIS!!!!!!!!!! ERMAC WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!!!!!! GIANT JUICY PENIS!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH MY EYES!!!!!!

I have yet to watch a really bad one... I guess I'm just extremely selective about what I watch... Wait a minute something is returning to me... Oh yes... something that is funny, a lot of the movies I really like are getting bashed... (Metropolis) But I'm used to that one by now.

Grappler Baki (The Movie I haven't watch the Series)
Project Ako
"More than hundred fucking takes." - Jackie Chan.

Untill I saw Red Hawk, that is.

I dont wanna blindly stumble upon something as awful as that again..

It's up to you folks to make your fellow otakus aware of such atrocities!
if you want to see why red hawk may suck, go the the anime section at:

www.sputnik7.com

click out of the intro and check out the selection of streaming anime. cable connection or above recommended.

as for my op on RH...i can't make a video so i'm not complaining. if you could make a better one, then i suggest you make it, and show us. and not just an amv. an anime with at least the same length as RH.

yeah, it sucks, but acknowledge that there was good effort.

Old Anime

Post by nrjize » Sat May 24, 2003 3:59 am

You ever notice in some of those old animes how people talk all slow and retarded? like the audience was a group of 5 year olds? I love that kind of anime, for the purpose of making fun of it. :o

8)

I've been upset with Sputnik 7 ever since they took Giant Robo and Gunbusters off the air.

They have had some really good stuff and some really bad stuff on there.

The only really bad animes I can think of are:

Vampire Hunter D(Remember the first one? I had trouble staying awake through that... Not to mention the animation wasn't too great IMO)

Vampire Princess Miyu (I give great props for the music, I have the OST, but after the first 3 episodes I sold my DVD at a garage sale. Same with Vampire Hunter D.)

Black Jack. (Oh my god. Never ever again will I buy an anime that revolves around the boring life of sergeons and "mutations".)

Gate Keepers. (Gate Keepers 21 looks really good, but the first one was an insult to my intelligence...)

Pokemon. (Just Pokemon. Not Pokemon Johto, Master Quest, or anything else. The first season sucked in comparision to all the other, IMO.)

I haven't really had that much expirence in shitty Anime. I've had my dissapointrments because I buy before I watch(They don't rent out anime over here), but not a lot of them have been "shitty"...
