The DVD's coming out soon you know, and I tell ye, this one's worth picking up. The graphics work is top notch. More than one person that watched it with me said "this is put together so damn well!".

I also think the CB movie is a must see. It was very well done and all the main characters are in it. And a cool kick butt woman named Electra.

It is required viewing for any CB fans.

Ok, I guess I'll stop bugging everyone with my stupid theory guessing, and just say straight out - the person that I think Vincent may be a reference to is...

Francis Vincent Zappa, 1940 - 1993

Indeed known for being the villain of the music world. Many of his albums teeming with bitterly sarcastic social humor and descriptions of distorted sex... in fact, his album "Jazz from Hell" had an Explicit Content advisory sticker put on by your friendly neighborhood Concerned Parents' society- I know, doesn't sound to extreme until you realize that the album is instrumental in its' entirety.

So why do I think he's like Vince again? The look I already mentioned. To me, the resemblance is quite striking.

I'm still wondering what other reasons would be there for all the Pumkins and Halloween as the setting of the CB movie - Zappa loved Halloween, always had great Halloween concerts, his label was called "The Barking Pumpkin Productions", and the Frank Zappa Hotline - yep, 818-PUMPKIN.

And then, of course, the name.

One similarity may be accidental. 2 - coincidence. But 3 - I think this may be intentional.

yup .. this blows royal monkey cock ... and the fact that i'm listening to the CB opening theme is only rubbing it in ... <sigh> such a cool song ... but yea, the only real thing thats keeping me from watching as much anime as i used to outside of my computer is money. SO BLOODY EXPENSIVE! i can't order online so i have to settle for retail ... for CB the cheapest prices i've seen are 45$ a disc .. and the shoping lsit i ahve is probalby equal to or greater then my college tuition ... danm i need that job and soon ...

Wow. I always thought the CB movie is gonna be a pretty major DVD release. I'd think you'd be able to get it for not-such-terrible-money at a local mall when it comes out. Perhaps not...

I've seen the whole box set of CB at CNAnime for... was it, 250 CDN? Something like that. Suppose that's not cheap, but still...

Well, still, you may be a bit more financially lucky than me... I'm about $8000 in the hole now, no prospect of getting out anytime soon. Can't even afford to go to a damn theatre and watch Matrix Reloaded! Argh~

Sorry to hear it. Hope you get out somehow, from under the debt. I'm in the same boat though. Although i am unemployed and broke i managed to see the matrix reloade.I hope you find a way too to.

Well, it's all called... University... eats up all your money, your mind, your sanity even... and then you're like - man, this is the best place I've ever been to in my life! They rip you off on everything, but I still enjoy it.

What sucks for me is that I still live at home, yet pay rent and all my main expenses to my parents, yet still have to obey all that they say... oppressive, I tell ye.
