Marvin, Honestly, I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to my editors, so please dont take everything as if it's being directed towards you. There is a reason that tv always manages to be 4:3. The pixels are taller than they are wide, and that being the case, it comes out to 4:3. I am planning to deinterlace/possiblly IVTC the poor sections, but that can wait. Don't criticize me or my editors or my encodes, they do that enough to themselves without you butting in and making it worse. All I want at the moment is people to tell me if their section is fucked. Flint, I went back and looked at yours, and there is a reason its jacked up. You submitted to me in 30fps when it was supposed to be 24. therefore in a 24fps timeline, your video would become unsynched by the end due to the extra 75(roughly) frames in your section. I am going to make AVS scripts for each of the sections with this problem (gits, crusher joe, NATHAT, etc.) and try to get this worked out. But once again, this will have to wait till monday.marvin wrote:I never said it shouldn't be 720x480, I just said the aspect was wrong. (NTSC) DVDs are always 720x480, and they still manage to be either 4:3 or 16:9. (And just because most players will ignore the aspect in AVI is no reason to have it wrong, though it's possible your software won't let you set it, in which case I suppose it can't be helped.)Dannywilson wrote:The 720x480? Just remove the odd lines and then scale it back up, their fault if it looks bad.Dannywilson wrote:The interlacing? Your fault. I had sections submitted to me in 30 fucking fps, despite all but shouting I wanted 24 from you people the whole time.

honestly klink I dont know why the east indies music didnt show up. I liked it myself.klinky wrote:Video needs to be :
640x480
23.976fps
Things to fix:
"interlacing artifacts"
credits need typo fix
credits need THE EAST INDIAN MUSIC THAT WAS INCLUDED BUT DANNY DECIDED TO DELETE BECAUSE HE'S A FACIST WHO DOESN'T LIKE KLINKY'S CULTURED TASTE IN MUSIC :p
Encode needs to be a 2-pass encode. Heck, Tab is the master at encoding and cleaning stuff up. I would suggest splitting the huffYUV and then sending it to Tab for wonderful online distro. He could also make some DVDs for people.
;o
~klinky
Rather than 640x480, I'm going to change the pixel aspect ratio, and make it 720x480, but better able to display on TV.
All those other things will be taken care of by monday... Looks like I'll be spending Akon I'n my room editing...

[My 2 Cents]I honestly thought this one sucked... Compared to the first one atlest. Maybe it was the song, the animes used, or just the editors but it lacked something the first one had. All in all it was ok, I like how Nappys part went into SpPandas part. The Big O section was well done. and the transition from mines into Vancore was a nice touch. My only question is whats up with that Yaoi Berserk part. I was freaked. So I guess a faster song maybe would be better for future projects. If there is one, and if danny hasent been fed up with all this. [/My 2 Cents]

Erm, DVDs are a 3:2 (or 16:9) computer aspect. 720x480 = 3:2 computer aspect, 4:3 (16:9) TV aspect. It doesn't matter shit if the pixel aspect was right or not, IIRC.marvin wrote:I never said it shouldn't be 720x480, I just said the aspect was wrong. B4 deciding upon song titles for MI:3, shouldnt u run it by Danny, bein that he's still fixing the quirks to MI:2, which, mind u, was released 1/2 a day ago.
Plus, shouldnt it become a new thread altogether as to not congest this one?
