I will definately be going, and I was hoping to bring one or two guests, so tickets would be much appreciated, and this is my RSVP.

First "official" AMV time slot has been given
( remember though anythign can happen in the next two weeks though)

there is an AMV panel on Friday at 12PM, located in Stevens Creek
Current Panelists include ( more will probably be added )
Justin "Ermac" Emerson
Jonathan "Feanor" Backer

Tentative plans for times of other AMV events are
AMV "Iron Chef" Friday 7PM in Main Events
AMV "Finalist" Contest Saturday 1PM in Main Events
AMV "Semi-Finalist" Screening Sunday 9AM in Main Events

Remember up to con time these times are just tentitive.

A list of submitted videos will be available soon, and a list of Finalist and semi-finalists will follow soon after.

Our two Iron Chef competitors have been selected and will be
Justin "Ermac" Emerson
and
Tim "doki doki" Park
a list of titles to be used will be made public soon.

Okay looks like the best time for an AMV creator's gathering would be after the AMV finalist contest on Saturday but before the Iron Chef contest. We can all grab lunch/dinner together. (I'll have my car).

As for the panel...12 noon on Friday! Panic! I am picking up my room mate from the airport around 11:30am, so I may rush into the panel at the last minute.

We also can gather for dinner on Friday after the AMV panel if we want. Figure after the panel we can atleast exchange CDs, etc...

Anneke, I'll see you at the panel! ^^ Thanks for the copy of MeriC's AMV from last year, and the whole Yaoi-Con thing =P Can't wait to see you're newer videos!

I will actually have CDs to exchange this year! XD I got lazy last year =P Oh, my video got accepted for the contest... not sure if that means I made the finals/semi-finals or not, but it's nice to know it didn't get disqualified or anything =P Well, I hope to see you all there! Only 9 days or so 'til the convention! =3

Oooh! Iron chef AMV competiton... I can't *WAIT* to see that. I just hope that someone suitable is found to introduce the special 'ingredient'... Since Kaga is insane. In a good way. *preens*

Anywho, so... what... do all folks who entered vids get to RSVP even if their videos aren't chosen for semi-finalist/finalists? *wondering*

On Saturday?! That early in the day? Gyaaah... *sigh* I'm still hoping that a real-live schedule'll be up sometime soon so I can plan ahead on what to do and where to go....

I should have more CDs of various people to give away at the convention. I rip all the AMVs into my own 'catalogue', so I hand them off. (Shrugs).

Sounds fine, but Iron Chef is on Friday night while Finals is Sat afternoon. I'm guessing masqurade is Sat. night, so be back before then. I hope they got the same host as last year, he was the best part hehe. "Do you want to touch my Totoro" Semi-finals on sunday Oh so early morning is a interesting choice :l

Btw did I need to send in a entry form or was all the info from Quu's site enough? It wasn't quite enough for acen, because It didn't say which was my first and second entry, and seconds were dropped :l Although I couldn't pick from the two anyways ;_; so its all good.
