Anyways, moving on...

well, sure, I'm not gonna argue with the above-mentioned influences. Just that, since most people went up with their favorites, I put up mine too. There's really more world-class guitarists out there than you can shake a stick at...
Well i'm sure there are,but most of them have never been Exposed to the mainstream media, and therefore have not gotten their fair shair of the fame. Oh and keaton, Angus Young is the GUITARIST for AC/DC my man. Thanks for trying to help okay?

Anything by John Petrucci.
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

Joe Satriani - Surfing with the alien (whole album)
System of a down - Soil (well ok it's not the hardest thing in the world, but i like how it sounds)
rush - La villa strangiato
and pretty much any hendrix or zapa song has good solos in it.
I had that Joe Satriani tape in college, but, -sigh- it got lost all those years ago. Great stuff on there. Hopefully I can find the CD next time I go on vacation. Or I guess I can check CDNOW. Thanks for reminding me what I need to add to my library.

They were already mentioned but deserve the credit...
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven... best... solo... ever...

Ya want Clapton?
Tears in Heaven
Change the World
Layla
While My Guitar Gently Weeps (oh so good)
Rush - Limelight
Pink Floyd - Dogs, Sheep, hell, the entire album of Animals has incredible guitar solos. Completely other-worldly.
Sata andagi!
