What: AWA AMV Dinner
When: Thursday, September 25, 2003. Actual meeting time TBA.
Where: Meeting in the lobby of the Renaissance Waverly Hotel. Actual dinner location TBA.
Who: All AMV creators attending AWA and their guests.
Disclaimers: Not an official AWA event.

Well it may be over 3 months away but I thought I'd go ahead and announce that I will be hosting another AMV dinner during AWA this year. The dinner itself will be Thursday night before the con just as it was last year. While I understand not everyone is in town that early it is the best time to have a nice, relaxing dinner where no one is worried about missing any con events. We had a blast last year with everyone I talked to who was there having a good time and everyone who wasn't saying they wished they had been. Given that AWA is such a big AMV con it is a great way to meet and greet before the con.

I'll be scouting out the area for nearby restaurants in the next few weeks so if anyone has any particular genres they are interested in let me know and I'll keep an eye out for them. Last year we went to a Japanese steak house which everyone seemed to love but given the new location of AWA we have a few more choices in the area (including a more traditional Japanese restaurant).

I'll post more information as we get closer to AWA. For now I just wanted to give everyone a head's up that we'll be doing the dinner again so you can arrange or rearrange your time table as needed.
