Adobe Premiere 6.0 HELP PLZ!!!!

Ok well... I just got Adobe Premiere 6.0 and I have read the help section and everything and I am STILL confused! Please tell me how you get video and music to play at the same time. And, how do you turn off the sound in the video so that the music you tell it to play will be the only thing heard? One other thing, too! Can you make still images with text? Please let me know! Thank you very much!!!!!

Try reading the manual again :\
It's hard to see how you could still be confused, as I couldn't think of an easier way to state it than what they have.
