Excel Pop Up Video

Call me a purist, but in my day, popupvideos had pops in the popups.

Seriously though, good concept and execution, although it's half the video it could be without the pops.

I'm kind of torn. It wouldn't be that hard to just throw them in there. It basically would depend on whether or not I found out the majority of people would rather have them in than out.
I personally like the song I used so half of me wants them out while the half of me that's more concerned about the "joke" wants them in. Maybe I should take a poll on my website or something.

I would suspect most people would want them out because of how I mentioned earlier about the real videos that didn't have the sound. Too many complaints to VH1 about how annoying it is perhaps?

I just made a version with the pop up sounds and after watching it, I think you're right. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll definitely put the redone version on my website.

I do have one problem though. While putting in the pop up sounds, I noticed that there's one part where I use a transparency that, before my lasts export, I accidentally deleted the image underneath so there's just a big black spot where the image should be. It's right at 3:33 for anyone who missed it.
So what's the best thing for this situation? I have a glaring mistake in the video and now I think it would be better with the different sound. Should I just upload it again with a message on the old one giving a link to the one that's fixed? Or if you send someone cookies would they replace it even though I think the uploading agreement said they wouldn't do that?

those different scenes with this was a technical part of the Forum. So I could ask you some questions about how you did that.

I bow before the lipsync in this video. Not only because the timing is good, but because it looks like real lipsync and not just flappity-flap-flap.

The concept and overall effect are a lot of fun too, of course. Thanks!

Thanks. I drew some of the mouths myself but mostly, if it didn't look right, I just stole the mouth shapes I needed from other parts of the show and resized them.
