Both of those songs are nigh on improssible... shit nearly every Warren Zevon song is impossible except for Werewolves of London... To add my hints to that tally I would like to say Kenny Rogers and the New Edition: The Condition My Condition Is Indbz_doomrider wrote:Why dont you make a music video to "Excitable Boy" by Warren Zevon....the absolute strangest song I've ever heard...
aside from "What's he building in there?" by Tom Waitts.
Neither of those...are songs you could TOUCH. Those are by far the most impossible songs. I -DARE- you to try and make a good video to either song.
Hardest song to make an AMV to?

Jogeir Liljedahl's "klisje paa klisje". All of you MOD-sceners better know what this one is; it's an electronic (computer?) music classic
The fact that the song goes on for 10 minutes isn't the difficult aspect (although it certainly is daunting)...I'd call it difficult because of the huge variety of themes presented in the piece. There doesn't seem to be any way to really do this song justice without having a seriously epic idea.
I'm posting the original 4-channel ProTracker music module here -- it's a pretty small download (224 kB). Be warned that this makes use of some really old Amiga module player conventions, and therefore won't play correctly on some players. MOD 4 WIN did a nice job of handling it, but I know that Winamp's decoder doesn't handle the tempo commands at all correctly...ModPlug _might_ do it, but I dunno...

Bah, that should be "set BPM-speed command", not "set tempo command"...trythil wrote:MOD 4 WIN did a nice job of handling it, but I know that Winamp's decoder doesn't handle the tempo commands at all correctly...ModPlug _might_ do it, but I dunno...
And this one isn't impossible by any stretch of the imagination, but it's definitely a fun piece, and since everyone seems to be getting song ideas here...I'd love to see someone AMV it

Surely the hardest one to do is one that can't be done at all and hence impossible?
My use of "impossible" was in response to people who'd claimed certain songs couldnt have effective amvs made to them. As it happens I dont think any of them are impossible but some suggested here really are damn difficult (and not worth the effort sometimes )

That's just a different way of looking at things. I know you don't give yourself much credit but personally I dont see it being so much about skill. Getting the idea (which is what this thread is about) is half of the battle. Honestly, I think a lot of these videos that people think are hard would really not be so bad if they were forced to make them.SarahtheBoring wrote:Technically speaking, but I didn't think the point of this thread was to taunt newer/less celebrated users about their AMVing skill. I suppose I was wrong.
I'm not saying they'd be a piece of cake but they really wouldnt be as bad as people make out.
