Favorite Anime Couples?

::shiny eyes:: A yaoi fan who actually draws the line at incest! I hate to say it but a lot of the ones I've met don't. I don't find yaoi nasty, it just isn't my thing. But yaoi (and het) incest is just going too far ::full-body shudder::

No, I'll make some strange pairings, but I don't do incest. Just the thought of what's been done to poor dbz with the Vegeta/Trunks and Goku/Gohan fics...eh...makes me all squicky. Yaoi is nice to me, but not with relatives. I'd respect the people who like that, but I won't go there.

Incest is totally where i draw the line. Yaoi- i love, Yuri- not too fond of but i can tolerate it, Incest- NO WAY

Just thinking of stuff like that....... ::shudders::

The thing is though...... I know that Ayashi no Ceres (by Yuu Watase) is mostly based on incest between the Mikage line to keep the celestial blood flowing. Do you agree with that? Incest with a purpose?

I like the series though...... the drawings by Yuu Watase are absolutely gorgeous.

um..... parings..... since I'm getting into Ayashi No Ceres......

Aya/Touya- they're so cute together ^_^ though i also support Aya/Yuuhi- i could totally see this couple happening

I don't know that series, but mating with familiy to keep royal blood is done in real life as much as anime, but you make me think of Tenchi now and how screwed up those people are about marrying their brothers. Yeah, I won't complain if it's a part of the culture, but I still don't have to like it.

You may not know Earthian, but you have me thinking now. If Messiah was created in a lab using Chihaya's cells, then that would make them blood relatives. And that would make the Messiah/Chihaya pairing incest! What an easy way to get around it. ^_^ I never really thought about it before.

[Have I told you how much I like your sig quote? Must be my favorite next to the one where Kurama asks Hiei to play with them because it's fun and Hiei won't because Kurama's "a very adept man." Heh...] 8)

actually i supported the Messiah/Chihaya pairing until i saw the last episode when Messiah goes all bad again... and......

I noticed that almost all of the endings to the episodes were bittersweet........ scratch that..... the WHOLE SERIES was bittersweet, but i loved it anyway....

U know..... my friend and I watched Earthian the same day my Biology Regents were........... I couldn't concentrate on the test..... I just thought about Earthian........

Heh, people go off-topic on threads all over this place, so don't be too worried about that. At least we're still talking about anime couples, that's something. And I don't mind the Messiah/Chihaya pairing too much, I just like Kagetsuya a lot, and I think he really got the short end of the stick when Messiah showed up and Chihaya turned all depressed-obsessive on him. I have the manga, though, and Messiah isn't in that. He's an add-on for the anime version. But the manga's the same way with the episodes, each part ends with some human dying or something sad happening. It's just the way she does things. I'm a big Earthian fan, though I've only done one fic for it, and I never finished it, I did try to put up some manga scans...didn't finish that either though... ~_~

But anyway, Kagetsuya/Chihaya is pretty high on my couples list, and I could do Messiah, but only if Kagetsuya's going to get Chihaya back eventually. I'm just odd like that.

[And I know what you mean about the end of the anime, that came as a total surprise for me. And you know what? I don't think even Kagetsuya's healing would be able to fix something like that. O.O )

Oi, I'm glad you liked 'Adept.' It was my second ever YYH fic, and still one of my faves since it's cute. ^_^ Kurama and Hiei just have such chemistry, even in the anime.

Your not odd..... actually i'd probably write a fic like that if i wanted to...... it seems............ established......... like Messiah was supposed to be an obstacle in the relationship.
