They're going to butcher it.

And to who mentioned it, don't bother with the FLCL manga, it sucks compared to the series.

i don't think it's possible to understand FLCL in one viewing ... Why would they have to butcher it?

There is no nudity, not much in the way of language, and all the violence is between machines. Adult situations yes but thats why it will be on adult swim.

I am one who prefers watching with the Japanese voices and subtitles as I think the Japanese do a much better job of matching voices to characters. Haruko's voice I think is perfect.

By all means, do so, I just hope you don't spend too much money doing it. In my opinion FLCL is too intense to properly translate it onto still pictures. Add to that the fact that you don't have the soundtrack playing with the manga, (and the soundtrack is important in FLCL) and you have my main 2 reasons for not liking it.

I think the adult innuendo is pretty strong in ep 4... I hope they handle that well.

Way of Total Analation of this Show:
1. If you havn't seen good anime (and people who watch only cartoon network dont') then you won't see all the good/insanly awsome parts in the show.
2. Just wait for the dubbing. It will hurt.
3. As the guy up top said, perverts will just be drooling over stupid anything close to ecchi.
3. They would never notice that kind of mistake <--
5. Finally, they won't get all the things that are being made fun of in the series.
