Of course Cowboy Bebop made me shed tears, even though like so many of you I knew it would happen. It's not so much Spike dieing as it is the ending of another of David Lucas's magnifiscent roles, that made me cry. The music had a huge affect as it always should. You know it's usally the music that trigers the tears because you know it's over and you can't do shit but wait for the movie which is soon to come out. :D. But, just after I stopped crying. I realized there was no end quote like "See You Space Cowboy." Then I saw it. The wonderful words: "Your gonna carry that weight." That made me shed one last tear for the great Anime Cowboy Bebop.
The size limit of sigs is 4 lines of text, and mine was WAY bigger than that.

Beautiful but sad endings...

Cowboy Bebop, not just the Spike+Julia+Vicious ending but Faye's ending too basically the whole thing really

Noir, the entire series was emotional

Kenshin OAV's both the prequels and the final ones (Seishonen OAV's or something like that apologies on spelling) I know the final ending wasn't the same as the manga but it was still a wonderful sad ending with Kenshin and Karou.

Damn straight, that is a sad show. The earlier episodes were just awful, in an "oh my god how can do that kind of thing to people" kind of way.

and gunsmith cats, the animation really got me at the end of ep3 it was so bad i had to cry,
I personaly think theres something uber disturbing about a guy waslking the land, carrying of kids to some distant church in the wilderness............

Things that got me tearful? Gunbusters ending, you know, where they got back to earth and there was no lights?.....yeah

now and then, here and there?? i have it somewhere, but i couldnt watch past the part where the kid says
'men men men men men men men men men!'
i just turned it off
I play violent computer games! I could snap at any minute!!!!

I've seen a few to get at my heart strings every now and again:

Cowboy Bebop- Quite possibly one of the most saddest of endings in anime. The death of Spike, the song Blue, and the quote "You're gonna carry that weight" all got to me. And above all, the execution was right on. All I really need to say is "Bang..." (David Lucas you rule!)

Serial Experiments Lain- Lain having to give up everything she had really got to me. And then when she saw Alice all grown up, and they had the conversation, I cried. True love of friends there...

Evangelion Death Ending- Using Ode to Joy and Pachebel's Cannon was perfect for the mood that the last scene with Karou's death set. Listening to the music and hearing Karou's last words of "Please... set me free..." really hit me.

There is more, but I really can't remember them all right now...
I guess I should say something witty here right...? Too bad... :P

The ending just got in to me, I felt the drama and the essence of the ending.

Too bad there's no such show and ADV is a bunch of retards. Perhaps you meant Rurouni Kenshin :D.

Perhaps this will help you out, the real Manga ending is quite uplifting/happy and open-ended. So yeah...now you know what REALLY happened and can be happy :D.

I'm so emotional! I teared up on Dragonball Z, Cowboy Bebop, Gundam 0080 really made me boo hoo. Seasons 2 and 3 of Digimon choked me up a bit... G Gundam and Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz because Heero was still with Relena.
