Hmm rules, last week I DL some vid of a guy that used clearly other ppls videos footage,I was sad cuz was so obvious that I thought, how somebody can call that video of "MY" video??I recognize it Dark Kamui,Aaron,Supavegito and etc, that was the baddest file that I DL here since I am a ORG member ,so NeoFenrirX if you use other ppls work to make your own video, you'll never should call that video of "your" work, gonna be just one more AMV with stolen footage.

(- _ -)bad idea...............
Nothing usefull here .

Crucify him! Crucify him!

nah, i'm just bustin your chops man ^_^

since the beginning of time, man has struggled to make amvs when they didnot how clips of their own. Many times they would construct these "Frankenstein's vids" (as a buddy of mine and i like to call them) for practice, others try to pass it off as their own, and some actually cite credits when they use someone elses clips. But in the end, it's always best to rip or capture clips on your own. If for no other reason than the fact that ripped clips are easier to work with and give one more flexibility in content, it's just good manners ^_^

Yes. Fansubs are considered illegal so posting links to sites that make them available goes against the rules as they currently stand.
Thank you for asking for clarification.

my suggestion would be to get a dvd player for your computer and a program that rips the clips or a capture card.

i think capture cards are easier to work with. the one i use is a Dazzle Hollywood DV Bridge. works with almost every movie program i have. notice i said almost.
