That's awesome! However, their gun tech is all wrong! I've fired a few different AR-15's before (the civilian model designation for the M-16, produced by Colt, Armalite, Bushmaster, etc). The charging handle is located on the back of the H-bar. To cock the weapon, the charging handle is pulled back, and released. The selective-fire switch located on the LH side of the lower receiver should be actuated just by the thumb, rather than twisted by the free left hand of the user. A lot of post Vietnam era films screw up in this area (including "We Were Soldiers", and "Heartbreak Ridge").

Even the gunshot doesn't sound like a 5.56mm NATO cartridge, in 60 grain, Boat Tail FMJ.

Yeah, damn these ameteur film makers and their limited budgets. They really should've hired a gun technician and a foley artist to maximize the quality of this stunning piece of art.

No, all this guy would've needed to do was film the actual rifle firing in a controlled range, and edit it into the video properly, to get the same effect, while showing the beauty of the AR-15 in primary extraction, and ejection of the spent casings. Those things are so much fun, and recoil is almost nil.

Yeah, I'm certain they had access to proper Dolby recording equipment. Hell, I do, why wouldn't two kids making a film with a cheap camcorder?

Poor EarthCurrent. I assume your ride isn't a Camaro IROC-Z. Be happy it isn't! Tires usually run me about $500 a pair, because I need to get the special Z-rated roadcourse radials. You can't even rotate the tires like a typical car, because the front and rear IROC wheels have different offsets and backspacing. Instead, the tires must be physically removed, and installed on the appropriate wheels. Of course, when there's a flat, the IROC-Z has the crappy sub-compact spare, which cannot exceed 35mph.

I'd recommend getting a good set of tools for your car:
•4 or 5 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" socket wrenches
•A good set of1/2" drive deep sockets
•1x bit driver with Torx, Phillips, flathead, and hexagonal bits
•1x torque wrench,
•1x full-sized 20" lug-nut wrench
•3x standard Phillips and flathead screwdrivers (#0, #1, and #2)
•1x Oil filter wrench
•1x 15" crescent wrench
•1x Compression tester
•1x digital multimeter
•1x inductive pick-up timing light
•2x 2-ton capacity jack-stands
•Assorted towels, rags, hand cleaner, high-temperature wheel bearing grease, white lithium grease, and fuel-injector/carb cleaner

This is what I carried in my Camaro a year or two ago, until I cleared off some space on my workbench. If this inventory can fit in a Camaro, it can fit in your ride. Litterally, with this supply of tools, you could do a complete tune-up on the side of the road.

When it comes to cars, I'm into the Road Warrior/Mad Max survivalist style. I litterally carry enough tools with me to do some serious auto servicing. Unfortunately, I don't have snow chains, or the crappy instant-inflation aerosol can to use my compact spare tire (besides, the compact spare takes away from the beauty of the IROC mag wheels, and I can't take hairpin turns at 40mph).
