The dude opened the floodgates to super deficit spending, was also involved in anti-missile systems that didn't pan out, helped kick up the pathetic Drug War with his wife's help, and he was on the verge of Alzheimer's while in the White House. Not to mention the whole Iran/Contra affair.

So I say, fuck Reagan.

I'm not sure who one should polarize themselves with, but definitely not Reagan.

Reagan's done more good for this country than Bush Sr., Clinton, and George W Bush put together. The man single-handedly won the Cold War, by running the second Arms Race until the Russian military went bankrupt making ICBMs! That takes talent!

Also, Reaganomics works! The only problem is, Bush Sr. and Clinton wasted all the taxpayers' money with more and more crappy government organizations. Reagan's plan, if it stayed in play, would've given us a permanently thriving economy. The reason Clinton had so much money to spend during his fascist reign, was the result of Reaganomics' last gasp. The recession we're in now is due directly to Clinton's overspending!

What people do not realize (why, I do not understand, because it sure as hell doesn't take a genius to figure it out), is that the economy has a time-lag. We can't just hike up taxes, or cut them to encourage spending, and expect an instant response. The economy is a very big, complex, dynamic system. Due to it's size, and all the inter-connected systems of circulation (businesses, banks, the Stock Market, etc), it takes a while for things to happen.

Granted, Reagan started suffering from Altzheimer's at the end of his second term. However, if you read his journals, notes, and biographies, you'd realize he was incredibly bright back in the day. His organization methods which he fine-tuned as governor of California were brilliantly applied to his cabinet members.

Seriously, go out and get a few biographies on Reagan.

As for the whole female thing, the minute I find a female my age (because I'm not one of those sick Canadian bastards that dates a 16-17 year old girl at the age of 22), who doesn't befriend people because of their political views, doesn't manipulate men with their looks, and isn't some goddamn hippie/liberal scumbag, I will be in absolute bliss. Of course, I would probably experience the same bliss if I got my hands on a S&W 500 Magnum/.475 Wildey Magnum, and could afford the ammunition.
