You know who I hate?
Those little bastard weenies from Team Rocket. Now sure, your a 11 year old kid, and two people and a talking cat getting blasted in the sky, it's funny! We know, I mean half of us grew up on Wylie Coyate and Road Runner, but JESUS FUCKING CHRIST! MUST THEY COME IN EVERY EPISODE? You just want to stab them in the eyes with forks! You don't even want to here the name "Team" or "Rocket" uttered for fear that some poor stupid idiot, having the vain attempt at a joke, muttering out the whole slue of the STUPID FUCKING THEME OF TEAM ROCKET! So you go around beating the crap with anyone wearing shirts with "R"'s on them, and then you go around to every pet store making sure no cats talk, because if they do, you just want to pound the living shit out of them to make sure they don't say "MEOWTH THAT'S RIGHT!" AND THEN YOU GET THESE BASTARD CON BOYS COMING UP TO YOU AND UPON YOUR REQUEST AT HEARING THEIR ANIME HISTORY THEY UTTER POKEMON AND THEN GO INTO THE WHOLE SHMEIL ABOUT STUPID-FUCKING-TEAM-ROCKET!!! *takes a breath*

.......I also really don't like Quatre(Gundam Wing), he's just an idiot..

Yeah, Team Rocket is possibly the most annoying three characters ever created.

As far as Shinji, Quatre and Relena go, I'm not sure I agree.

Relena Dorlan/Peacecraft had a naive idea about universal peace, and she went too far to achive it. It cost her the lives of thousands, but her intentions were good. Then again, the road to hell....

You all seem to forget the age factor of Shinji. He's just a kid, put in a situation he shouldnt be in in the first place. Most people his age(and many older than him) would probaly do the same thing.... panic and run. He isnt a trained soldier, hes a kid.

Quatre responds differently than the other characters because he didnt have to fight his way thrugh childhood. He had what me might call a(more or less) normal childhood. He regrets that he has to kill, and feels guilty everytime he does it. After all, those pilots are someones brother, someones father, someones son. He isnt emotionless like Trowa, Heero and Wufei are most of the time. Hes the eternal feeling of guilt thruout the show, even if it is overdeveloped at points.

Hmm, Team Rocket is definitely up there, wtf is wrong with the creator!

Relena, overmentioned, don't want to echo a rant, but yea.

I pretty much hate all the brown nosing females in anime that lack a spine and would die if the guy they obsess over dies too. I'm a guy and I find them annoying...even if they have big boobs and no brains.

Every time this thread comes up, I cannot bring myself to nominate poor Shinji, for the reason that he always comes to his senses and kicks Angel ass just in time to prevent everyone from dying. He can also see and acknowledge his own faults. Asuka, in contrast, just never seems to realize how much of an annoying pain in the ass she is, and she never changes.

Celtic_Otaku wrote:Now for the one that i hate just has much maybe a little less then Relena is, Amuro Ray from Mobile Suit Gundam. I Hate him because 1. He is a Fedration Piolt, 2. His ideals i don't agree with. 3. I feel he is a cowered 4. He ran from battle a couple times. and 5. Because he killed many a honerable Zeon soldier and People Char held close to his heart. Now I will give him this, he is a Ace Piolt, has shown courage in battle, and cares for his freinds and has shown mercy to the Zeon.

Now some of you may think my part about Amuro is stupid, but hey its what i feel.
In defense of Amuro...

1. Factions really shouldn't play too much into it (don't get me wrong, I dislike Gato for being a Zeon, but I hate him even more for the fact he's a Zeon without having a good reason...if Delaz had decided to join the EF, Gato would have swapped uniforms in a heartbeat...but I'll save that for later in this post.)
2. Which ideals?...personally, I'd say his opinions during Char's Counterattack seemed pretty well grounded.
Concerning 3 and 4. While I can understand why this comes across as a downside, one has to remember, he's only human. I mean, he's 15 years old, been drafted into a war he initially had no plan on becoming a part of, and is now an integral part of the crew's survival...that's an awful lot to deal with...it's only inevitable he's gonna wind up losing his nerve about it now and then.
as for 5...***SPOILER****
Actually, outside of Dren and Lalah (and let's face it, Amuro wasn't aiming to kill her at all,) Amuro really didn't take out anyone Char really cared about...remember, he set Garma up and was planning to take out the rest of the Zabis as well. Ramba Ral was a suicide. The Black Trinary we never get any indication Char gave a crap about (and Amuro's reaction there was merited...they DID kill Matilda right in front of him.)
But I digress once again...

******Here endeth the spoiler*****

Sorry about that...just saw that, had to comment...

moving on...

Now putting my $0.02 on, as stated earlier, Anavel Gato from Gundam 0083: Stardust Memories
Reason: Up until 0083 had come out, the running message in Gundam had primarily been that, in war, there really aren't any good or evil (well...OK, the Zabis, Haman, and the Titans weren't exactly good...but let's face it, can't make a show where the audience roots for both sides, can you?) soldiers...corrupt leadership perhaps, but the actual frontline soldiers are all only human. Then Gato changed this. Rather than being human and showing the Zeon were people too, Gato was primarily a cold, robotic propaganda machine, doing whatever Delaz told him without questioning it for a second, whether it be to follow him on a mission, or fire off a nuke that would kill thousands and break the Antarctic Treaty.

Whew...sorry for ranting there...just, long story short, I think Gato kind of was contradicting a good chunk of what the Gundam series had said up to that point on war.

But, that's just me...

can't really bash shinji TOO much. he's just a kid that hasn't quite grown up yet. i never completed NGE but from what i hear, he gets better at the end. thing to realize is that at one point or another, whether or not we know or acknowledge this, we were all shinjis(some are still!) force him to face a stack of trauma and he'll grow up....

Wow for someone who hasn't seen the end of Evangelion...you sure know a lot more about it then some. I strongly suggest watching the entire thing since the ending is quite uplifting and the entire story is just an allegory of our own existence and relationships with each other.

Yeah, I suppose Shinji is a kid and I can't say "but Asuka didn't do that" cuz she went through some major crap near the end . . . but he still makes me mad. I always wanted to stick some other 14/15 year old in his place to see what they'd do . . . Kaneda would be scaaaaaary . . .
The Magnificent Seven [Britt has just shot a fleeing bandit off his horse.]
Chico: That was the greatest shot I've ever seen.
Britt: The worst! I was aiming at the horse.
