If the UN stuck to just famine relief and human rights advocacy, they'd be a lot better off.

Personally I feel the UN should play more of a role in world wide politics. The US in general has a stupid notion that they have some right to boss around the rest of the world, which we shouldn't. If this world is ever gonna make it another 100 years we need to have a United Nations. Single rogue governments are gonna end up destroying this world. The US is gonna become another England. Back in the day England was the bad ass in the world, but they went around throwing their weight around and finally everyone got fed up with it and turned on them. If this arrogance that most Americans have doesn't fade we are gonna have serious problems in the future. I know most of you might disagree, but I see the past repeating itself, what makes it worse is now we have weapons that could destroy the world and that really scares me at times.

Anyways thats how I see it.

The world's just jealous that we can have gameboys, gamecubes, pc's, macs, playstations, and an xbox all in tehs same room.
