Yeah, but Trinity/Misato didn't hand their asses to them in a subway station in those movies. Well, she didn't in The Matrix either, but Neo did, and Trinity was... like... around somewhere.

Episode 3 just finished downloading. Time to watch.

you mean Haruka ... and she kinda did .. even when one jumped her from behind she didn't put much effort into planting his ass back into the ground. Plus when she first charged in ... straight in to that gun she pretty much handed that guys ass to him as well, even though he got up again.

Episodes 3 and 4 finished. Right now, it's about 80% Evangelion, 5% The Matrix, and 15% The Arrival or any other body-snatcher pod-people-type movie.

Hakura works for an agency whose goal is to fight the aliens. What a shock. I bet she drinks heavily, too.

That pink-haired girl is a wierdo... it's like Mishima is the nice and friendly yet mysterious and secretly godlike part of Rei, whereas the pink-haired girl is the "walks around naked but has the social skills of a brick" part of Rei. Oh, and since she was a new character, she had to be introduced on a naval vessel

I KNEW it was going to be a kitty. I don't know how I knew it, but I was like "It's gonna be a kitty, isn't it?" I guess this is the show's pen-pen.

The recap at the beginning of episode 4 helped me understand episodes 1-3 better than the episodes themselves did. Whee.

Well, I now have all of Lain on my computer except episodes 4 and 5. I'm wondering if I should wait for them to finish and then watch the whole damn thing all in a row. On the other hand, that could be dangerous to my mental health.

yea the more you try to associate this show to others the more you will fabricate ties between this and other shows. And almost every anime has a cute fuzzy animal thing ... so get over it ... Buchi is not pen^2, hes a fucking cat ... who is occasionaly possesed. oh and i'll assume yoru watching the fan subs ... its Mulian, not Murian, and it's Ixstil, not Ishtil ... or however they say it on the fan sub, theres only a few mistakes i noticed from the first five episodes, but other then that it's pretty accurate.

and yea .. haruka drinks, but theres a bigger drunk in the show.

i had it all fansubbed before it was released in the US so i already know what happens MWHAHAHAH... MAKE SURE TO WATCH PAST THE CREDITS ON THE LAST EPISODE...fastforward if you have to --; RahXephon owns, yes its similar to Eva yet its way better. No gay crying fag Shinji, no bitchy asuka, and reika is NOTHING like Rei once you finish the show and understand why she is that way, its more original then being a clone and she was never dead to begin with whoever said she was. --; But you have to get further into the show to see that it just SEEMS like its exactly like eva, but thats a WHILE into the show --; and Haruka isnt a ripoff of misato, she is just like EVERY SINGLE other main female character...actually she's more integrated in teh story then Misato...as in SHES THE ENTIRE STORY --;; but yeah ill stop before giving more spoilers away --;;
