Seven days left before the AWA Pro deadline!
The deadline for the AWA Pro contest is fast approaching! Gotta be in our hands by the 26th, along with the permission form, so all y'all hopefuls don't forget to print one off of our page!

Join in on AWA's peer-reviewed (contestant judged) AMV contest!
Remember, if you enter the pro contest, you'll be getting copies of all the contestant videos on tape, so set aside some AMV-watching time before the con to do all your judging in. We'll be sending you the web-site to enter your verdict (as well as propose other awards) after we get all the pro tapes out.
Hope everyone has fun this year! Last year's was a blast (even if we were right down to the wire with the award engraver) and we're hoping this year for a contest with lots of variety and different genres of music/animation. Everyone's welcome to participate, regardless of experience level. Details are at the link listed above.
(Yeah, yeah, I know, discussed at the end of another thread. Just thought everyone could use the reminder writ a little larger.)

for those of you who are looking at the deadlines badly... think about this
You can use the ftp server at
http://contest.otakuvideo.com to upload your video this weekend and just send the blank tapes and the signature form via normal mail...
the video has to be done and in my hands by this weekend... but i don;t need yoru blank tapes right away... i need them... but you don't have to spend to much money overnighting blank tapes and the signature form...a dn the mailer... send those via normal US priority or something... much cheaper...
also... if you live out of country... or have trouble getting to a post to get the return postage and or blank tapes... contact me... I might be able to help
