Maybe I should restate some of my points to sixstop.
Yes, we may not have wanted to deal with Iran, but what were we doing? Giving billions to a leader who was anti-America, but also anti-Iran? Wow that's such a great thing to do. That's throwing money at the problem. If he was threat and iran was a threat, then we should have gone after both. Easier said than done, since drumming up support for a war needs unfounded WMD evidence.
My point about 9/11 is that Bush can tank the economy further, line his & his friends pockets with more moola, have a vice president with tie-ins to the shifty Enron scandel, OK drilling in alaska, get rid of the tax on oil & chemical companies that funded the SuperFund trust fund for extremely toxic sites. Yet alot of people still LOVE him, because he was in office during 9/11. He's a crappy leader, but he's stuck in the "hearts & minds" of so many americans for his brave acts during 9/11. Anyone in office, would have been seen as brave during those times because everyone was needy and wanted to look at the leader for support. Because we're all sheep and can't see that he's fucking us over slowly.
I was stating that all nations are a joke right now. No one can do anything right. I am going to say, yes America is probably a better place to live than alot of other places. But getting into a lofty place where everything is easy and you can live the "american life" is more or less like a lotto. You can't own a nice house & a car and have your 2.5 kids anymore with ease. This nation is becoming a "chase the buck" nation. Do anything for money and money is all that matters. While the citizens can have other ideals, ultimately this country's base is money and getting it. People can criticize the rich, but be told "Well he's made alot of money, how much have you made? Not much, so your point really doesn't matter since you're not a sucess". While China has it's opressive government and "can't do wrong" attitude. Same for N. Korea. The UN seems to be a bunch of guys who sit around and don't do shit to impact the world.
Everyone DOES deserve water, medicine & a place to live. This is not entitlement. I can't believe you and others are so insane as to suggest that I am being spoiled demanding basic living conditions. So a baby in some 3rd world country, yeah just let them die because they were born in a shitty place and deserve to die. They're not "entitled" to it. That's fuckin' cruel. EVERYONE, from the day they're born deserves a equal chance. This never happens, and I wonder if it will ever happen. That's the idea of a government. I quoted Thomas Jefferson because the whole point of making everything organized is to have a functioning society that focuses on making peopls lives easier & happier. Maybe you'll say "oh that's not the purpose of society". Well I would feel sorry for you, because that's really all that matters in life. If you can't be happy, what's the point of living?
One thing I was thining of recently was what would happen if everyone had equal amounts of money. Society would collapse because you don't put in this desire, or need to work or do things. Alot of society and the way it works is based off of survival and fear of dying. I don't think that's a bad idea, because people should pull their weight and not be expecting a big handout. But if you work, no matter what, you should be garunteed a few things. Such as a place to live, clean water, food & medicine. Because with out people, society can't exist. If you dont' take care of your people, then they die .
