i see, what part of Western Culture regards 13 as unlucky? Because i know that Italians think Friday the 13th is a lucky day, i have no fucking clue why but they do.

i ran into those 2 like 50 times while at AX --; well not ran into but saw. About the guns...i dont know anything bout the guns from hellsing...mainly cuz ive yet to watch it cuz i have no money currently, lol. But i could tell you every single gun from Cowboy Bebop...but thats about it...oh well. The two did good i think, the cosplayers, from pics and AMV's ive seen they are really close to how they are supposed to look. Not that you said they were bad, just sayin what i think too --;

thanx for comlimenting me on my Arucard costume..i appreciate it^_^....and yaeh..i didnt get a break due to the fact that everyone wanted pics of us..i did the guns to the best of my Knowledge by the way..thanx again

Last I heard, the association of 13 and bad things comes from Christianity. Apparently, Judas was the betrayer of Christ AND his 13th Apostle, and since this was considered a bad thing to have occured, the number 13 gained a bad connotation or something.

Why the Italians consider it a good thing is beyond me.

As for the guns, I'd just write off as the Japanese lack any real gun culture that can pick apart these sorts of things. Their loss, I suppose

so i see ... thats why 13 has such a bad rap ... lol no wonder no one wants to live on the 13th floor of appartment buildings ... well i do ... i want a 13th floor appartment ... see what kind of gruesome accident will claim my life that way ...

Ahh, but it wouldn't be an accident that would claim your life. You'd probably have suspiciously good luck, think nothing of it, and then realize one day that you unwittingly sold your soul to the devil
