The one I can think of is the Trigun "In the End" video from last year's Otakon. That one was very nice, and kinda got me misty eyed.

I dunno what other LP videos have won at cons...

But isn't it? There are two types of poseurs in the world. There's the kind that likes something because it is popular and everyone else (or at least the vast majority) likes them. Then there's the kind that doesn't like something merely because everyone else seems to like them. If you like (or dislike) something, please do so because you personally do (or do not) like them. Basing your opinions merely on the influence of others is what being a poseur is all about.

As for Linkin Park and Dragonball Z, it just so happens that they are 2 very popular things at the moment. Thus, it's not hard to make an LP + DBZ connection in AMVs. There are quite a few LP videos to other shows and plenty of DBZ videos to other groups too. Give it some time and I'm sure the popularity of both will fade (although I'm betting DBZ will outlast LP by a good long while).

DBZ's final episodes are gonna run this fall but then Dragon ball and GT will take it's place.
